Young people are making change all over the world. Our
mission is to
bring these voices to the heart of international development by
facilitating opportunities for Changemakers to meet each other and
contribute to the work of the United Nations. We believe that young
people should feel empowered to take control of the future they want to
see.
UK Parliament Week is all about celebrating
democracy, and it also was the perfect time for young people to make
their voices heard. AFI Changemakers was an official partner
organisation of Parliament Week, where it held its own event, at the
Parliament called AFI Changemakers Youth Forum on International
Development and Human Rights.

at the UN Geneva 18-20 May 2015
Individuals with a global
conscience and a
passion for a
better world became involved in the movement
for participation on the global stage. Global Leaders (18 to 30
years old) were invited to participate in the 2015 UN World Health
Assembly. They attended deliberations and council meetings along with
representatives with other young dynamic colleagues from state
governments, intergovernmental organisations and civil society.
It was a life-changing experience and they became part of the AFI
Changemakers at the UN network.
Global
AFI Changemakers were invited to participate in the Summit on ‘Right to
Health & Access to Medicine’. Changemakers also participated in the
